Women who want to make a difference

Our First Meeting was a huge success

We had our first meeting on February 18th at the Livery in Sunapee Harbor. The nonprofits presenting were Sunset Hill Educational Institute, Access Conservation and Upper Valley Humane Society. All 20 members in attendance voted and Access Conservation won! Thank you to all three nonprofits for educating us about your organizations.

Our Next Meeting

Our next meeting is planned for May 20th at 7pm at the Livery in Sunapee.

If any new or existing members would like to nominate a nonprofit to be added to our current list of nonprofits please send an email to galswhogivenh@gmail.com by April 26th. We will be randomly selecting the three nonprofits for our meeting during the following week and will let everyone know who will be presenting before the meeting.

Who we are

A group of women who come together with the common goal of supporting the communities we live in.

How it works

The group meets once every three months (4 times a year). By joining the gals you are committing to donate $100 every meeting ($400 a year). Every member is encouraged to nominate a nonprofit. Before each meeting we will randomly select three of the nominated non profits to come give a 5-10 minute presentation. At the end of the meeting the gals in attendance will vote on the winner who will receive a $100 donation from each member. If you are not in attendance for the meeting you do not get to vote but are still expected to donate. The non-profits not picked will receive a $250 donation and will be added back to the list of nominated nonprofits to possibly be selected again the following year.

If you are interested in being a part of the group, please fill out the Registration Form and someone will be in touch.
